Russia-backed separatists announce referendum in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin orders deployment of 300,000 reserve Russian troops

Moscow: Vladimir Putin of the Ukraine War has ordered the deployment of 300,000 reserve Russian troops. This is the first time since World War II that Russia is going to deploy such a large number of troops. His decision has stirred the whole world. Putin said that Western countries are trying to break Russia. He also said that if the territorial integrity of our country is threatened, we will use all available resources to protect our people. Putin also warned against nuclear blackmail to the US and NATO. Putin said that this is not a joke, we will use our arsenal with full force. In such a situation, questions are being raised that what is Putin’s plan with the deployment of such a large number of soldiers.

Deployment of troops is part of Putin’s strategy
Putin’s military deployment is part of a well thought out strategy. He plans to annex the four occupied territories of eastern Ukraine into Russia as soon as possible. Russian forces have captured two important areas each in eastern and southern Ukraine. Soon a referendum will be held to formally include these areas in Russia. Authorities in the Russian-occupied territory have said that voting for the referendum will begin on September 23 and run until September 27. In such a situation, Ukraine can also try to answer Russia with full force. To deal with this situation, Putin has decided to deploy three lakh reserve soldiers.

Ukraine said – this will not change the truth
Ukraine has reacted sharply to this decision of Russia. Ukraine has called the referendum decision a Russian stunt. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dimitro Kuleba tweeted that it was just a sham. Nothing will change with the referendum. He said Russia has been and remains an aggressor illegally occupying parts of Ukrainian land. Ukraine has every right to liberate its territories.

First referendum will be held in Donbas region
According to Russian officials stationed in the Ukrainian occupied territories, the referendum will first take place in the self-declared Donetsk and Luhansk republics of the Donbass region. Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the two regions as independent territories shortly before sending troops to Ukraine in February. Apart from this, a referendum will also be held in the southern Kherson region. The area was occupied by Russian forces in the early days of the invasion. Russia is also preparing to hold a referendum in Zaporizhia, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. Ukrainian officers and employees are working inside this plant, while the responsibility of security is in the hands of the Russian military.

Lavrov said – people will decide their fate
The great thing is that Russia does not fully control any of these four regions. Only about 60 percent of the Donetsk region is in Russian hands. When asked about the plebiscite, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that from the very beginning of the operation … we said that the people of the respective regions should decide their fate and the whole current situation confirms that they will do their best. Want to be the master of destiny. It is feared that the decision of Russia’s referendum could further aggravate tensions in Europe.
